    I couldn’t ask for more

    This Penn Squall cast great! It has loads of power and great drag range. I have used it in both fresh and saltwater, for both plug casting and vertical slow pitch jigging. I have been very happy with this addition to my fishing tackle.

    Great

    Had my Penn Squall a couple years.

    I use it in the surf regularly and don’t really take care of it except rinse. Maybe a spray of WD or oil.

    Still works great. Love the modern drag stuff like magnets.

    I have used Penn reels for most of m 65 years.

    Highly recommend.

    Design flaw

    I returned this reel after one day. The panel release button is in a horrible spot. The side panel came off as i was reeling in a fish.
