    I couldn’t ask for more

    This Penn Squall cast great! It has loads of power and great drag range. I have used it in both fresh and saltwater, for both plug casting and vertical slow pitch jigging. I have been very happy with this addition to my fishing tackle.

    Awesome quality reel. Pairs well with an Ugly Stik Tiger Elite 6'6".

    I've been using spinning rods for saltwater for quite some time, but I wanted to add a bait caster setup to my lineup. So I paired this with a Ugly Stick Tiger Elite 6'6", and it's been a great inshore saltwater setup, whether I'm fishing from a boat, or my kayak.

    Great

    Had my Penn Squall a couple years.

    I use it in the surf regularly and don’t really take care of it except rinse. Maybe a spray of WD or oil.

    Still works great. Love the modern drag stuff like magnets.

    I have used Penn reels for most of m 65 years.

    Highly recommend.
