Love my fathom 2 speeds for Sailfish & Mahi here in Costa Rica! The 40N is the perfect size for our fishery, 300 yards of 50lb braid and then a 200 yard top shot of 30lb mono works perfectly. Fast, strong, lightweight & look good too. great reels.

I own several fathoms including 25, 30 and 40. They work excellent for fly lining, dropper loop fishing for tuna and yellowtail. They cast well, free spool well, the drag system is great and the low gear is perfect for the end of the fight.
