Pleasant experience being able to order what you need. Local Bass Pro Shops & Academy Sports hardly ever have what you need in stock or offer limited selection of sizes on Penn rods. The “light” spinning rods seem to never be in stores.
Hope to see Penn offer 1000, 1500, & 2000 sized spinning reels in the sealed Spinfisher, Slammer, or Authority series.
As far as the Squadron III spinning rod light 7’, it’s a great looking rod. Not a bad price if you break it and need to buy a new one either.

Don’t believe the hype about shipping in 24 hrs It has been five days and got nothing but a confirmation number and calling or for information on order or using tracking site is a bigger joke they won’t get back within the 24 hrs !! Just wait and buy one at a store or use a different manufacturer!
