I love my new Penn rod sleeves. They ensure my investments are not damaged or scuffed in transit. The mesh design ensures any moisture is not trapped in the sleeve, leading to damage. Worth it to protect your investment.

Too short, couldn’t use it. We’re returning it. We’re also returning the Penn spinfisher VII, 5500. The reel didn’t have anti-reverse, and no live bait option. When we thought about going with the 6500, we discovered that it didn’t have an automatic bail. That was a major NO! We decided to go with a Shimano reel & rod. The reel is fantastic and has all of the features we wanted that the Penn reel didn’t. The live bait feature on the Shimano reel allows us to adjust spool movement from free spool movement to retarded movement. Penn fishing tackle is not going in a good direction at present, pinching pennies and pinching features.
