The reel features our proven HT-100™ drag system and a 4-sealed stainless steel bearing system, making the Pursuit® IV a great value for money for saltwater anglers. Also includes a custom carrying case with space for a spare spool for more versatility.

First trip and the rotor came loose and the main gear broke. Came with a good travel case for the rod. Been using a different reel for it since. No response from Penn when asked about warranty.

The reel is solid, The rod had a few guides that have a little edge on the inside that my braid rubs on causing line damage. I filled it down myself but I was disappointed I had to that. I expected better quality control from penn
