I purchased two of these for my pursuit IV 4000 and 8000 reels. The fit is too snug and you have to take the reel handle off each time even though that is not mentioned anywhere. I had so much trouble with them I gave up after 2 uses. I contacted Penn's customer service but they are useless. I wasted over $60 on these and now have to buy other ones.

Should have bought the large size for the 5000 series reels. It will fit in the medium but not easy.

I have a spinfisher 8500 LL and the fierce 6000 LL and had both covers for the correct sizing, NOT EVEN CLOSE! Contacted customer service to only be told I need to order a Double XL when they don’t even offer that. Really becoming disappointed in Penn and the lack of quality they have in the gear, descriptions, and employees.
