I bought this rod to fish in heavy current and this rod amazed me. Not only did I cactch a lot of various species - I was amazed at the sensivity to the bite - even at depths of 80 metres..Thank you Penn - time to retire my wooden butt Penn Steeltip Pro from the early 2000's...
