I ordered a Battle II rod combo and received an original Battle. Wrote customer service and haven’t heard anything back. The website now shows the original Battle, but my receipt and invoice show Battle II. Disappointed because I purchased a “Battle II” to match a combo I already had.
On a positive note, the shipping and packaging was excellent. If Penn packages all their rods like this, you won’t have to worry about damage.

Purchased this and got delivered what appears to be a BTL4000, not a BTLII4000 and I really wanted the Battle II because of its longer lasting body. Waiting on customer service for next steps hopefuly I get shipped the correctly advertised combo.

They were delivered separately, 1 showed up in a nice box ,2 days later the mate showed up in bubble covering the reel a zip ties holding it together. Currently no visible damage, still excited to get them wet. Just rolling with the punches.
