I absolutely love this reel! I purchased the 2500 for bass fishing in NC. I have fished all my life (51 yrs old) salt water and fresh water. This is a fantastic reel in my opinion. I’m thinking of buying a few more.

The reel is very well made, and it will sure take the battle to some really big size fish.
This reel will stand up to Saltwater conditions and will handle freshwater with ease.
I highly recommend it.
