This is my second Penn Fathom 15 Star Drag reel. These are my work horsesthey do it all. I fish off shore in San Diego through the summer and catch 15 to 50lb tuna with these reels. Great casting and super smooth drag.

I am from Ohio and a group of us have been going surf fishing together for years. I have a few of the squalls that also had magnetic control but this reel is another level. Its incredibly smooth and your line will just scream off this spool if youre throwing any type of surf rig with weight. Highly recommend this reel.
