The website said the XL pouch fits up to the 10000 series, but i barely can get my 8000 to fit in it. Have to jam it in there and it just barely velcros.

Online said the Extra Large would fot the 8000 series penn battle iv, but i had to jam it in there to get it to fit. And its just barely holding onto the velcro

I purchased two of these for my pursuit IV 4000 and 8000 reels. The fit is too snug and you have to take the reel handle off each time even though that is not mentioned anywhere. I had so much trouble with them I gave up after 2 uses. I contacted Penn's customer service but they are useless. I wasted over $60 on these and now have to buy other ones.

Should have bought the large size for the 5000 series reels. It will fit in the medium but not easy.
