The PENN Fathom™ low profile baitcast reels offer all the features you need to tackle the toughest saltwater fish. The Full Metal Body and Right Side plate, matched with a brass main gear and bearing supported pinion offer a drivetrain with unparalleled power, while the TiN Coated Level Wind System and Synchronized Drag and Level Wind system (*400 size only) give extra durability under high drags. Available in 200, 300 and 400 sizes with both standard and high speed gear ratios. Left hand models available in standard gear ratio only.

We use these reels when fishing inshore and offshore in Southern California and they can handle anything from calico bass to bluefin tuna. Lots of drag and lots of pulling power make these the right reel for fish from 1 pound to 80 pounds!

I already own a 400, this Penn cast better than then my Lexa 300 (Great reel). This 200 is replacing another fancy Daiwa I bought from Japan made in “Vietnam”??
So happy with this new Penn 200., get it, get fish from the beach! I do!

These reels offer stellar performance in a durable package. While emphasis is naturally placed on fishing salt, these reels are one of the best things going for muskie and pike and easily at home fighting striped bass as well.
