Tougher than it looks
6' 6" medium paired with a Penn Battle III 6000 reel and 50# braid. The rod had great feel and sensitivity using 150g fall flat butterfly jigs. I could feel the action of the jig. It seems thin but has plenty of backbone to easily handle amberjacks I caught over wrecks off of Hatteras.
