The PENN Fathom™ Electric is an innovative, first of its kind reel. Built on the legendary platform of the Fathom II Lever Drag reels, the PENN Fathom™ Electric powers your game to the next level. Featuring a fully integrated and replaceable Lithium Ion battery pack, you never have to be worried about being tied down with cords or limited to spots with a plug. The PENN Fathom™ Electric features a true digital line counter based on line diameter inputs, which powers the autostop feature for true hands free retrieval, with override feature if you wish to manually run the speed control. The powerful brushless motor easily handles as much drag as you wish to run, with speeds capable of running everything from chicken rigs to sailfish kites. PENN Fathom™ Electric provides up to 40 lbs winding power. Kit includes reel, battery and charger.

I put to test, this Penn Fathom Electric 80 reel, fishing off the North Carolina coast in 500ft + WATER. Caught several large fish over an entire day of fishing. Used one battery, and an additional two bars on a second. Far exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend!

I used my new Fathom 30 electric for the first time. Fished in 100-110' of water off the North Carolina coast. Caught several two lb or so fish, and a few ten lb fish during over nine hours of fishing. Totally sold on the reel. Only used two bars of power all day. Easy to use, and dependable. Everything worked as advertised! Great work Penn! Love it! Now to use my new Fathom electric 80 next!

Bought a 50 used it for two months and just bought another 80 very pleased very easy to use my wife can do it all with these reels and batteries last a long time highly recommended
