Super fun to bottom fish for large grouper and snappers, matched with a 7 Heavy inshore casting rod, its quite a fish catcher. It has also come in very handy at out gunning sharks in the backcountry .

the reel seems good have yet to use it. but the problem is it advertises 495 of 50 lb. and it only takes 300 of 50lb. (diamond braid 8x) and very tight spooled. that is a very big difference. i will update soon, once i use it.

i have a 15 size in this little gem. it casts so smooth and effortless. with 30LB braid i was able to cast distances of over 150 yards no problem.
