Sealed to perfection!
I had a 5’ shark pull my rod from the rod-stand and into the surf. I dove in and caught my rod and reel! No issues whatsoever! IM6 stamp of approval! Washed the reel off with a bottle of water and rolled on! Legendary reel, but the watertight seal is the best improvement. All brass gears is another plus! 👍🏼

Small for salt water
4500 series reel works fine but feel it is small for salt water. I should have checked the actual size before internet purchase. Also would have spent much less if I had purchased direct from Bass Pro Shop.
