I bought this combo to fish on vacation in NC. It was wonderful and helped me catch over 50 fish! Perfect stiffness on the rod. The only thing I didn't like is that the reel is loud. Makes a lot of clicking noises with mono.. it may not be so loud with braid. Overall though.. very happy with the product and the value!

1. I never received my item , and wasn’t able to fish on my once a year vacation
2. I tried over 5 times to email Penn and never got a single response
3. I tried calling Penn and never got someone to answer .
This is absolutely terrible service, and I have also requested via email and voicemail that I would like a refund since I NEVER even got the item that I paid for. 0/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND ORDERING FROM PENN.
