Great light weight reel with quick retrieve.
I use mainly inshore... Can handle larger fish with ease...

No support to fix the reel
I sent the reel back to penn over 6 weeks ago and no call, no nothing. I called them 4 times no return calls. I believe the repair department might be a scam. BAD service ……

1# spinning reel on my bay boat!
If you want a strong, reliable, smooth, tough, reel I recommend you give the this model a try. We’ve used Penn 2000, 2500, 3000 reels for over 20 yrs and have never and I mean never had an issue with one! Only spinning reel on my boat to handle and fish on the bay!
