Carnage lll Spinning Surf Rod
Have the 10, 11 and 12 foot rods for a different feel and sea conditions. All cast well with Spinfisher Live Liner 6500 and 8500 series. Recently added some spinning jigging rods for casting to areas. These Carnage rods feel amazing when using braid. Highly recommend.

Was great until it wasn’t
I used this rod on 3 or 4 trips and it did great surf fishing. Casts heavy weight while still being sensitive. But on my previous trip to Panama City I caught a 32 inch bull red and the top foot or foot and a half of the rod snapped off. Pretty disappointing to spend $290 on a rod and take good care of it and it fail on a big fish. Thankfully I still got him.

Overall, it did come with a few minor cosmetic scratches. I’m going to overlook it because I mostly care about the reel. Overall, I would say that I’m satisfied and happy with the purchase and I can’t wait to try this combination out.
