Nice combo... Reel lacks Auto close of bail.

Nicely constructed reels. Rod is very nice considering the price of the combo.

You should know that these reels do not auto close the bail on cranking. This means you have to open and close the bail manually every time you cast. I didnt know any spinning reels like this even existed still... it is very annoying.

A nice feature of the live liner lever is that you can set multiple strike drags.

This borders on the perfect all purpose spinning reel.. If the bail would auto close when you reel AND if the line roller would spin back to and stop at the up position (so that the line is where your pointer finger is) when you spin the handle backwards.... I couldn't imagine a more perfect spinning reel for salt fishing. It would be capable of just about any type of fishing.
