I loved it
I had this reel for less than 2 month but it was amazing and this was my first low profile. Sadly i had to leave it behind because a bear snuck up behind while fishing alone and me being Filipino, never have i ever experienced that growing up. I got so scared that i didn't even dared to go back and pick it up after .. Left 2 penn reels the other one was a squall

The feal of this 500lp in your hand fits perfect. Easy yoo use and cast and handles Pelagic fish with no problem. Spooled with braid 50lb. Have right at 310 yds of line when spooled. Easy casting and cast control with the mag brake adjustment. Paired reel with Shimano Teramar WC Conventional Rod - 8' - X Heavy - Extra Fast

Alot of backbone in the tod too handle pelagic fush with no problem. Will be purchasing another set up or 2 more set ups.

One tough reel!
We use these reels when fishing inshore and offshore in Southern California and they can handle anything from calico bass to bluefin tuna. Lots of drag and lots of pulling power make these the right reel for fish from 1 pound to 80 pounds!

Absolute workhorse
These reels offer stellar performance in a durable package. While emphasis is naturally placed on fishing salt, these reels are one of the best things going for muskie and pike and easily at home fighting striped bass as well.
