I bought my new Squadron III Inshore Casting rod at our local Ace Hardware store , here in Rockport. Texas... I am an avid and prolific angler.. having been raised in The Florida Keys... and spending all of my adult life on the South Texas Coast... I have a certain preference for the kind of rod I use and purchase. My Penn rod is by far the .. my first choice to catch Reds and Black Drum! It has held up well .. with proper maintenance.. I can rest assured I'll be equipped with a rod I love and gets the job done. Smooth casting with distance needed to sight fish those schools! 5 stars

strong sturdy and very affordable rod for all round ocean fishing you can cast live bait easly and its strong enough to pull in a yellow tail it worked fishing the bottom and catching bass and barracuda well honestly you can get the quality of a phenix rod right here for about $60 the fish dont care what rod they get caught with.
