So, Penn’s design team sat down and developed a range of carbon rod blanks with a solid glass tip that incorporates a carbon core – the pinnacle of solid tip technology. This design concept has produced one of the most forgiving, progressive, fast action blanks on the market.

There are five rods in the downtide range, all of which have been produced with UK anglers in mind. The blanks perform sensationally thanks to the innovative tip technology.
