Eight Stainless Steel ball bearings plus an infinite anti-reverse roller bearing ensure that these reels feel and perform like pros. The ultra-smooth drag has been manufactured to cope with searing runs from powerful fish, without giving the slightest hint of a jerk that could easily break a light line under tension.
One of the key features is the spool design. There is a Friction Trip Ramp rim on the spool to help the coils of line glide off the spool to increase casting potential. Other features include a Techno-Balanced Rotor™, a waterproof drag knob, a Stainless Steel main shaft and a fail-free bail spring.
There are four models in the range, designed for spooling up with 6lb, 8lb, 10lb and 12lb main lines.
To put it quite simply, there is no better fixed-spool reel for freelining live sandeels for bass, or floatfishing for mullet. If you want to experience the ultimate sensation of fishing with the best, try the AF for size!
