Rated 5 out of 5 by BReel from Nice Rod! First one was damaged in transit and PENN quickly replaced it. This is my lightweight 7' 6" rod paired with a PENN Clash 4000 w/ 20lb braid for chasing albies. I really like the quality of this rod for the price. Nice guides, reel seat, handle, fast action and light weight make this rod a winner. Glad I got one before it's discontinued.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DustyC from Awesome rod I recently purchased this rod in med/light 7'6". I bought it for fishing the flats but have only used it in freshwater so far. I love the feel and sensitivity of the rod. Awesome hook sets and tons of back bone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tyre from Worst Penn product I have ever bought I am a die-hard Penn fan who almost solely uses Penn from reels and rods to tackle organization and equipment maintenance. This rod was the worst product I have bought for fishing. I purchased it 2 months ago and saved it for the winter fishing season when redfish run thick and on the very first bite on its maiden voyage it snapped about a 16 inches from the tip. I am a very experienced angler an was well in the recommended line rating which is why I am reconsidering this purchase and Penn as my go to rod supplier. I will add photos when i upload them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sfulton6420 from The best rod I have ever had Well I swore I would never pay that much for a pole but my father handed me down this rod about 3 months ago I have a penn battle 4000 on it withe 20 lbs braid and I will never go back the action on it is out of this world casting is phenomenal I am now saving to build up a pen line up for my gear working on the battle 2 combo first. If you don't have one get one penn has changed the fishing game for me keep fishing y'all

Rated 1 out of 5 by Capt Jim from Both rods have snapped Bought two. The first rod snapped catching inshore fish such as redfish and snook. OK. I thought maybe it was damaged somewhere. Used the other, and after several trips out it too snapped just below the 3rd eye. You have to be kidding, these are more expensive than the Legion line which is performing great. What I want are replacements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by trenton1997 from Great rod! I use this for casting jerkbaits to Kings and Jacks off the Gulf Shores pier. It is sensitive enough to inject the right action to the baits and strong enough to handle to pressure exerted by these fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Drowell from Great all Purpose Rod A brilliant rod that is perfect for medium to heavy estuary angling and light to medium inshore angling. It is tough as nails and up for any tussle. Very pleased with it so far!
