Rated 5 out of 5 by Capt Funyet from Best value and versatility on the market. These rods are so versatile that I have replaced almost every spinning rod on the charter boat FUNYET with them. They are great for not only jigging, but also for casting long distances to busting tuna. They are also great for bottom fishing for grouper , snapper, amber jack and just about everything else that swims here. They are great for casting live bait to sailfish and dolphin also. I even use them for shark fishing in the Back country for big fish on light tackle. I have most paired with 750ssV reels and 50 pound braid. The rest are strung with 30 pound Vanish and cover just about all scenarios that I fish on a daily basis. The value is unbeatable and the quality is top notch. I can affoard to carry 15 rigged for just about any situation I can come across Here in the Lower Florida Keys. Now what to do with all of the rods that these replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PescadorVidal from Yellowtail buster Love the rod very comfortable in the hand and has power to control fish. Combined with my conflict reel it helped me slay yellowtail and White Seabass in California's San Clemente Island

Rated 4 out of 5 by marceejay from Good stick, but a bit heavy I bought this to match up with a Penn Clash 5000 reel and the fore-n-aft pivot balance is great. The rod seems a bit chunky in the grip and seat area, hence the 4-star rating. Fortunately, I have XL hands so it's not a problem for me, but might present a handling problem for some of my smaller charter boat clientele. Great value for the money. I have caught some real lunkers using Penn's conventional Rampage jigging series rods and these are all 5-stars in every category.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ivvwd from Best rod for the price I bought my first rampage spinning jigging rod last summer and did a couple og ground fishing trip in New England waters. I have since bought two more to set up jigging rigs for my wife and son. This rod is extremely strong light weight and handles well in a fight with a bigger fish.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bowhuner32 from Penn rampage jigging rods Within the last month in a half I've bought 5 of the penn rampage jigging rods. I couldn't be happier with my pick the rods. They have perfect flexibility and back bone the foregrips makes for a comfortable feel when your jigging or reeling in a good size fish if I could rate the rods with 10 stars I would.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Redfisher from Terrible guides! I bought this rod in April and have been out on two fishing trips with it. Very well built rod but cleaning it a week ago after a productive offshore trip, I notice this! So disappointing to have a great quality rod without a mark on it, but a guide liner crack in half? Please Penn...use better guides or better QC before you ship out. Disappointing that I’m out of $80 after two fishing trips.

Rated 4 out of 5 by finfeather98 from Great rod Great rod handled exactly as I hoped it would. Caught 5-10 lb snapper and 20 lb ling with no problems. Wish it was 6 inches longer but that was a selection error on my part

Rated 4 out of 5 by captain rick uffa from I bought it 2 weeks ago and i use it for the first time last week, and i was very happy with it, people tell me that penn rods are junk, time will tell, have a 1 year warrianty with it. It is sooo light and after 6 hrs of fishing I was still able to hold it and bring in big red grouper
