The PENN® Carnage™ III rods are truly in a class of their own. Composite blanks, PacBay® Caxin Indestructible guides, Fuji® reel seats, and our tough and tacky rubber shrink tube handles prepare angers for any challenge from the surf. Our proprietary SLS3 blank construction provides a very thin diameter blank, while maintaining a lightweight feel which is ideal for heavier boat, jig, surf, and nearshore models.

I live over here in Milwaukie oregon where fishing off the bank for Chinook salmon you need a powerfull, flexible fishing pole, that has a outstanding handle for very long cast, and handles these fish under current very well, I seem to have a excellent pole that everyone I fish around has taken notice and I cannot thank you enough , I am fortunate to have caught my fair share and appreciate what you have developed, (( p.s .I fish a lot and would appreciate a penn shirt if possible ? I would wear it and it would be like a billboard on me fishing the great northwest.

Great rod . It is very stiff with little give in the cast. It will handle 40 pound blue cats in heavy current without a sweat. Just pair it with a reel capable of taking advantage of the rod.
